What You Can Do

Teach English in Rwanda

During our 2025 trip, volunteers spent a meaningful week in the village of Busasamana, where they taught English to more than 300 students. The students were divided into rotating groups, giving each teacher the chance to work with a variety of age levels and learning styles.

While a simple teaching guide was provided, volunteers were encouraged to make each lesson their own—bringing learning to life through games, songs, and creative activities. No formal teaching background was needed, and support was available every step of the way. For many students, it was their first experience with conversational English; for our volunteers, it was a powerful opportunity to connect, uplift, create memories, and make an impact.
